Third B age group-up to 19 years old

Duration: 14-17 min; deadline for registration 15.11.2024; Fee-100 BGN (approx. 52 euro); Prize fund: Invitation to paid participation in the next edition of Pleven Guitar Fest, statuette, medals, diplomas, subject prizes, held: present, 06.12.2024

1. Participants up to 19 years of age at the start date of the competition (born in 2005 or later) are admitted to this group.

2. In order to register for participation, each participant must complete the online registration form by 15.11.2024. After this date, registration is possible, but with a 30% higher fee until 1.12.2024. Upon successful registration, each participant will receive an email with access to their profile on the festival website, in which to attach the following documents by 1/12/2024:
– completed and signed GDPR declaration (personal data protection) – you will find the form in your profile, which you will receive after registration;
– photo;
– declaration from a parent confirming the participant’s age – you will find the form in your profile, which you will receive after registration;
– repertoire list;
– document for paid fee.

3. The competition program lasts a minimum of 14 minutes and a maximum of 17 minutes..
The candidates present two or more pieces of their choice from different musical-historical eras (Baroque, Romantic, Classicism, etc.).
Plays are performed by heart!

4. The fee for participation in the competition program is BGN 100 (approx. 52 euro);

5. The organizers offer:
– An accommodation packages that includes:
* nights with breakfast, lunch and dinner, according to the schedule of the competition in the hotel “Tourist House Kailaka”.
* organized bus transport from/to the hotel to/from the concert evenings, competition halls fully aligned with the schedule of the event;
* pass (FULL PASS) for all 8 concerts during the event;
* FULL access to all events during the festival – competitions, master classes, exhibition. For more information see here.
– organized bus transportation from and to Sofia airport, which will take all those who wish directly to the festival hotel. For more information see here.
– A promotional pass that provides access to all concerts, passive participation in master classes, all other activities previously announced in the event schedule. Value: BGN 80 (41 euro);

6. The jury’s evaluation criteria are: choice of repertoire; artistic interpretation; technical mastery of the instrument and difficulty of the repertoire; tone control (quality and intonation); stage presence.

7. The jury reserves the right not to award all announced prizes. The decisions of the jury are final and unappealable.

8. The results are officially announced in the online platform “zCore”, which will be placed on the website of the festival. Participants, as well as their relatives, have no right to demand results from members of the jury before their official announcement by the organizers.
The category grand prize goes to the participant with the highest score and cannot be shared between two participants. The winner of the grand prize of the category participates in a gala concert of the laureates. In this category, more than one first, second or third prize is awarded, depending on the result obtained:
-90-100 points (first prize);
-80-89 points (second prize);
-70-79 points (third prize);
-60-69 points (special award).

9. Prize fund:
-Grand prize of the category: statuette, medal, diploma, PAID Invitation to participate in a concert during the next edition of International Guitar Festival Pleven; material prizes; Professional audio and video recording of participation in the gala concert;
First Prize: Medal; diploma; material prizes provided by the sponsors of the festival;
Second Prize: Medal; diploma; material prizes provided by the sponsors of the festival;
Third Prize: Medal; diploma; material prizes provided by the sponsors of the festival;
Special Award: Diploma; material prizes provided by the sponsors of the festival.
*Note: The participant awarded the most points (regardless of which category) will receive the Grand Prize of the International Competition: Classical Guitar “Kremona”
