Open stage

1. This category is for amateur performers.

2. The programme for the competition is with a maximum duration of 8 minutes. It can include instrumentals and/or songs. In this category there are no style restrictions or any other restrictions concerning the repertoire.
Soloists as well as ensembles (maximum of 8 people) are admitted to participate. One participant can take part in more than one ensemble or group.
Every participant can use an acoustic guitar – steel string guitar, classical guitar – nylon string guitar or even both types depending on the personal judgement and the character of the presented pieces. Other types of musical instruments are allowed as well.
No amplification is allowed, neither other types of electric sound!

3. The participation fee in this category is 10 euro. It should be paid no later than 9th October 2018

4. Prize fund: In this category there is no first, second or third prize. The best and the most attractive performances get a plaquette as well as the opportunity to be presented at a concert during International Guitar Festival Pleven 2019.
