The international Pleven Guitar Festival has been taking place annually since 2015. The idea for the event arose two years earlier, when in 2014 the organizers of the event founded“Art Close to Me” Association and in the very same year did a “general rehearsal”  in a beforehand edition on a National scale. For only 5 years the International Pleven Guitar Festival managed to turn into one of the leading events of the guitar art in Europe. The Festival includes incredible concerts with performers from the entire world, a high level international competition with a professional jury, an innovative rating system, exhibition of the newest musical products, presentation of master guitars from renowned luthiers, many workshops, masterclasses, impecible organisation, perfect accommodation, transport, great music and fun
