Plamen Markov performs as a conductor at national and international music festivals. He conducted the philharmonic orchestras in Varna, Pleven, Vidin, Shumen and various chamber formations. He made concert tours in Hungary, Spain, Germany, Greece and France.
Since 1995, he has been the conductor of the “Brevis” chamber orchestra at the “Panayot Pipkov” National School of Arts – Pleven.
Since 1999, he has been the chief guest conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Thessaloniki Conservatory Odio Voreo Hellados.
From 2019 is the conductor of the Pleven Guitar Ensemble at the National School of Arts “Panayot Pipkov”-Pleven.
Currently, Plamen Markov is the chief conductor of the Municipal Brass Orchestra BIG BAND-Pleven, as well as a teacher of chamber music and ensembles at the National School of Arts “Panayot Pipkov” – Pleven.
