RALI & KATI BAND consists of Ralitsa Haydarska-vocals, Katerina Vachkova and Borislav Kovachev-guitars, Momchil Ivanov-drums, Momchil Krachunov-keyboards, Pavel Kopchev-bass
The project has existed since the beginning of 2024 and was specially created for the participation of the winners in the Guitar and Voice category from 2023. Ralitsa Haydeaska and Katerina Vachkova.
Ralitsa Hayderska-vocalist, 18 years old, a student at National school of arts “Panayot Pipkov” – Pleven, majoring in folk singing with Mrs. Silvia Haydarska. She has been awarded many awards from competitions, including: participation in television and radio programs, one-year scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, professional sound recording in Bulgarian National Radio
Along with folk singing, he improved as a performer of other styles as well. She studied guitar with Mr. Nikolay Mihailov. Their duet with Katerina Vachkova was also awarded first place at Pleven International Guitar Festival 2023.
Katerina Vachkova was born in 2008 in Pleven. Since 2022, she has been a student at Panayot Pipkov National School of arts – Pleven in the classical guitar class of Nikolay Mihaylov.
She won 1st places at: Sofia Guitar Festival (2021), Transilvania International Guitar Festival (2022), Pleven International Guitar Festival (2023) in duet with Ralitsa Haydarska, and with scholarship 26th International Music Competition “Hopes, talents, masters” – Dobrich (2023) and the 27th International Classical Guitar Competition – Kyustendil (2024).
In 2020, she started writing original pieces for classical guitar. They are also awarded with a special award in memory of Valentin Valchev and for the best performance of a work by a Bulgarian author and the premiere performance of her own play “Mavi”. She reached the II round of the XIII edition of the national competition for young artists of the “Yordan Kamzhdalov” foundation in the category of composers and also participated in the “Academia Musica” for it.
Borislav Kovachev was born in 2007. in the city of Pleven. He is a student at the National School of Arts “Panayot Pipkov” in the guitar class of Nikolay Mihailov.
Borislav (Bobby Solo) is a finalist from “Bulgaria is looking for talent” in a duet with Alexander Kolev, winner of the first prize at the Pleven International Guitar Festival 2023 in the electric guitar category.
He participated in many projects including: the production of Alexander Morfov “Antigone”.
Momchil Ivanov completed his secondary education at the “Panayot Pipkov” Musical school in the city of Pleven with the specialty “Percussion Instruments” under Simeon Serafimov in 1993.
In 1997, he graduated from the “Pancho Vladigerov” State Music Academy – Sofia with a bachelor’s degree in “Percussion Instruments”, with professor Dr. T. Karparova.

Momchil is a participant in master classes of David Friedman, Michael Burritt, Svet Stoyanov, Vasilena Serafimova, Jean-Baptiste Leclerc, etc.
At the moment, Momchil Ivanov is a teacher of percussion instruments at the “Panayot Pipkov” National University of Pleven, and since 2011 he has been an Artist-Orchestrator in the Pleven Philharmonic.
