Mihail Shishkov was born in 1973. in the city of Sofia.
He is a graduate of the “L.Pipkov” Secondary School of Music, Sofia, majoring in piano.
Higher education, theater, NATFIZ “Kr. Sarafov”, specialty Acting Mastery for Puppet Theater with art director Prof. Dora Ruskova. Master’s degree – 1995
Since 1995, he has been performing as a composer, arranger, concert and studio musician (pianos, guitars, pedal-steel guitars, double bass, harmonica, mandolin, percussion, etc. instruments) in a number of projects, concerts and sound recordings of many prominent Bulgarian artists and singers.
He is the author of music for over 70 plays for puppetry and dramatic productions, and in 2018 he received a nomination for the “ASKEER” theater award for the play “Moderato Cantabile”, directed by Stiliyan Petrov.
In 2020, he received the “IKAR 2020” prize for original music at the “IKAR” theater awards of the Union of Artists in Bulgaria for the performance of the “Vazrazhdane” theater – “For a phenomenon of electricity” by A.P. Chekhov, directed by Stiliyan Petrov .
