Stanimir Stanimirov was born on 1974 in the city of Shumen. He studied guitar with Lyuben Haralambiev in the city of Varna. From 1993 to 1997, he was a student at AMTII, Plovdiv, later – in 2000, he specialized under Prof. Stella Miteva – Dinkova. Participated in master classes of Georgе Vassilev, Vladislav Blaha, David Grimes, Robin Ford and others. He performs in various formations and genres. In the period 2003-2014, he worked as a part-time assistant at the “Music Pedagogical Faculty” of “Konstantin Preslavski” Shumen University. He teaches “Classical Guitar” and “Classical Guitar Teaching Methodology”. He is currently a guitar teacher at Anastas Stoyanov Secondary School and Sava Dobroplodni Secondary School – Shumen. He develops an active pedagogical activity, participates in solo and orchestral projects. His students are laureates of international and national competitions and festivals.
