The group STUDIO84 PROJECT emerged in 2015 as a music project for the creative studio Studio 84 Art and Motion. It unites teachers from the school and friends musicians in the common idea to create original songs in Bulgarian with an emphasis on poetic texts and melodies. They prefer the acoustic, natural sound of the instruments and mix guitars and piano with accordion, flute, kahon. They experiment freely in styles and invariably pursue their goal of creating music with a message.
The first studio album of the group “Retro?” was released in February 2021 and contains 11 original compositions based on texts by favorite Bulgarian poets.
