Kristiyana Stoyanova – Bulgaria

Kristiyana Stoyanova started studying classical guitar in 2014, as a student at “LIK” guitar school  – Pleven in the class of Milena Gramova-Mihaylova. In 2016 she continued her studies at the National school of arts “Panayot Pipkov” in Pleven in the guitar class of Nikolay Mihaylov. For the 8-year period of study Kristiyana has won prizes at international guitar festivals in Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Northern Macedonia and Greece, some of which are:

2016 – third prize – XII International Competition “Young Virtuosos” – Sofia, Bulgaria
2017 – third prize – Guitar Festival – Sinaia, Romania
2017 – first prize – International Guitar Festival – Pleven, Bulgaria
2018 – third prize – XV International Classical Guitar Competition “Enrico Mercatali” – Gorizia, Italy
2018 – second prize – XXII International Competition for Classical Guitar “Marin Goleminov” – Kyustendil, Bulgaria
2018 – first prize – Guitar Festival – Sinaia, Romania
2018 – first prize – Tremolo International Guitar Festival – Skopje, Northern Macedonia
2019 – first prize – Guitar Festival – Komotini, Greece
2019 – second prize – XXIII International Youth Competition “Hopes, Talents, Masters” – Dobrich, Bulgaria
2020 – first prize – Tremolo International Guitar Festival (virtual edition) – Skopje, Northern Macedonia
2020 – first prize – International Guitar Festival – Pleven, Bulgaria (virtual edition)

During her studies she participated in master classes of: Jérémy Jouve, George Vassilev, Éric Franceries, Gabriel Bianco, Marco Tamayo, Marcin Dylla, Judicaël Perroy, Gerhard Reichenbach, Atanas Ourkouzounov, Rossen Balkanski, Zoran Dukic, Nikola Montella and others.

In 2021, Kristiyana was accepted at the Regional Conservatory in Paris, France in the guitar class of Jérémy Jouve.
